MEETING MINUTES

PRESENT: Aldrin, Peak, Seidman, Stephenson and Thompson
PLACE: Tisbury School Gymnasium, Spring Street
7:00 PM SPECIAL TOWN MEETING
In the few minutes prior to the official commencement of Special Town Meeting, the Planning Board discussed the Board of Selectmen’s proposal for the “Stretch Building Code”.
The Board decided that they should take a formal position on the proposed warrant article. There being no further comment, Mr. Peak entertained a motion to endorse the adoption of the so called Stretch Building Code as presented on the warrant. Mr. Stephenson so moved. Mr. Aldrin seconded the motion, which motion carried 5/0/0
Shortly after, the Town Moderator announced that they did not meet quorum to conduct Special Town Meeting. The Board of Selectmen agreed to hold the meeting open until they reached quorum or until 8PM. Periodic announcements of the number of people in attendance continued until 8PM.
Special Town Meeting was continued until April 12, 2011 at 7PM. The Planning Board followed suit and adjourned their meeting until April 12, 2011 at 6:45 PM in the Tisbury School gymnasium.
